What is SL4 Portal?

SL4 Portal is my personal blog. I am Tux Winkler, an avatar in Second Life. I am for the most part a friendly and helpful person. I use this blog to sound off about anything really.

A break from the old routine! 4000 lines of code in a day!

With the acquisition of cloud (google it) our database structure is now massivily scalable!  So the old .DISTURBED RENTALS SYSTEM. that kept getting put back because of server load is now a possibility!

So a little testing, turned into just over 4000 lines of script. 8 PHP scripts, 2 LSL scripts and 1 rocking database.

Finally, it would seem, the rental system shall be released.

I am quite excited with this because it will show a web front end for both land owners and tenants.  The reason I am excited is this, other than the GRPS beta testers no one has had the opportunity to see our web skills.  To be honest we ROCK!

We should do this for a living in real life (oh thats right we do – XD).

And wait . . . . . . how much will this cost?

Nothing . . . nil . . . nada . . . zip . . . diddley.

It has to be the best value for money web enabled rental system available to second life land lords ever.  And the best thing about having a brand new system?  In gets better.  Thats right, your suggestions, on the forums will help us make it even better!
