What is SL4 Portal?

SL4 Portal is my personal blog. I am Tux Winkler, an avatar in Second Life. I am for the most part a friendly and helpful person. I use this blog to sound off about anything really.

Feel free to comment, I have set this to open. So no need to register! At the moment the majority of visitors comment via email, try clicking the blog title and leaving a comment - its easy peasy!
Our sim: DISTURBED

ABOUT ME

Having been a part of Second Life for many years I found my footing in scripting.  I can script anything, but getting me to do it is a different thing.  I do not like to script mind numbing things like a rotating prim, or a glowing tube.  I like challenges, simple as that!

Yes, Tux is not my first account, although he is my favourite.  My earlier accounts was possibly less desirable and will not be spoke of here (please do not list my previous accounts in the comments, should you know any).  And my other accounts manage and rent land.  And yet another still is quite unique.  But this is Tux’s blog so we (the other AV’s) will not hijack it – XD.

As Tux, I have roughly a sim’s worth of mainland.  And havenother side projects (including People Against Oppression – a support group for coping with cyberbullies).  I also, proudly, help the TibetStars.org charity (SL scripting and web work).

My current projects include a Role Playing game, which is currently being tested prior to release (I will need 200 new testers for the final phase – let me know if you are interested).  And a new communication tool for SL communities.

So, what makes me tick?  I like to help people.  Its as easy as that.  People come and ask me to help, then they say how much?  I do not charge for help.  If I am asked to create something my fee is simple:  Pay me only what you think it is worth.  I create because I can.

Anything I make myself I have a simple price structure: 1L$ per item (so if it is 6 prims,2 textures and 1 script I will sell for 9L$).  Unless of course I make as a freebie, in which case it is free – XD.

Most of all, enjoy your second life and let no idiot spoil it.

Peace and Love

Tux!

      Who is this sad muppet?…
You are accusing Tux of being three very different persons from three very different organisations and backgrounds.
Hiding behind an anonymous moniker shows your lack of credibility.
And if you are going to throw idle accusations around, at least have the decency to type in proper English.
      Moron!
and yes i DID spell check this before posting!

  • Not-So Breaking Nuze: Stolen Shit is #1 in Popularity at XStreetSL
It appears that Linden Lab’s sheer incompetence has come to (another) head. Some throwaway alt named Kristina Catronis is selling 230 Top-quality stolen dances, and now can also brag that she’s the top selling in SL, as “her” product has reached the #1 sales rank in XStreet.  Several sellers have claimed to have filed DMCAs several [...] […]
